Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-15

1. Data Stored On-Chain

FABRIK stores core platform data on a public blockchain. This includes handles, transactions, deployed applications, and application state. On-chain data is immutable and publicly visible.

2. User Accounts — Encrypted On-Chain

Your account record (username, address, public key, and the password-encrypted private key) is stored on-chain but encrypted with the FABRIK server key (AES-GCM). Only the FABRIK platform and the admin dashboard can decrypt these records. The blockchain stores only ciphertext.

3. Self-Custody

Your wallet private key is encrypted with your password in your browser before being sent to the server. FABRIK never sees your plaintext private key. Signatures are produced client-side. We cannot recover your password or private key.

4. Conversations & IDE Data

Mini GPT conversations and IDE workspace data are stored on-chain. A small BRIK burn is applied per conversation to cover on-chain storage. Conversations are associated with your address.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a single authentication cookie (fabrik_token) and browser local storage for session management and wallet client-side data. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

6. Admin Access

Authorized administrators can access encrypted user records and platform telemetry through a secured admin dashboard protected by password and treasury-key signature.

7. Your Rights

Because account state is on-chain and immutable, deletion of on-chain records is not possible in the traditional sense. You may stop using the platform at any time and transfer your BRIK out of your wallet.

8. Contact

Questions about privacy can be directed to the platform operator through the admin dashboard or support channels.
